Three layers, one set of numbers
Every piece is designed to sit inside the one above it. Cuffs are sized to go under, not over; the
base layer is long enough to stay tucked; the shell has room for the mid without compressing it.
01 / Base
17.5 micron merino blend at 150 gsm, knitted in the round so there is no side seam under a pack
strap. Use it from 2C to 18C, alone or under the mid.
02 / Mid
165 gsm grid fleece. The grid moves moisture off the skin; the smooth face slides under a shell.
Use it from -2C to 12C. It is not windproof on its own, by design.
03 / Shell
20,000 mm water column and 20,000 g breathability in a three-layer laminate with fully taped seams.
It has no insulation, so it works over the grid fleece in winter and over the singlet in summer rain.
